Senior Operations Manager

Must have prior experience at the senior operations management level at a commuter railroad, ideally commuter and freight railroad experience in a mixed operating environment. Should be able to monitor all train operations, liaise with the FRA and all personnel, and be responsible for implementing safety programs, will also oversee training and compliance, and put together procedure manuals. Experience in crew management, knowledge of timetables, operating rules, bulletin orders, experience in dealing with customer complaints, operating audits, incident investigations. Must be rules qualified and have strong operating background. Ideally, would like applicant to be a certified locomotive engineer or previous history of Road Foreman of Engines. Salary: Open.
